General Information

We are specialists in the on-line advertising of cut-price wedding dresses. Visitors to our site have a variety of requirements and budgets.

It is a fact that anybody can throw a web site together without much effort but it takes time and technical skills to produce a great site that works. Our site was designed and built by two professional software developers who continue to manage the site.

Facts and Figures

The number of visitors to our site is testament to how successful it really is. July was by no means our record month as visitor numbers have reduced for the holiday season, but we received on average 550 visits to our site per day. (Note that is visits NOT hits we don't consider the hits figure to be meaningful but if you want that figure too they averaged at over 18,500 per day).

We currently have over 1200 registered Members and 218 Wanted adverts.

How Things Work

We have designed the site to work well for both advertisers and buyers alike as one cannot exist without the other. All registered users have an email address and password to allow them to log in and change contact and Advert details (including photographs) whenever they like.

With bulk advertising packages you can create up to a set number of dress adverts at any one time (5, 10, 20, 30 or more). When a dress sells you simply delete the Advert and create a new one. Alternatively if you have a similar dress to sell alter the details to suit.

Each dress advert has up to 4 images, descriptive text and fields for Designer/Manufacturer, Style, Shape, Train length, Size, Height, Colour, Fabric, Price Wanted and Retail Price.

Whenever a new dress advert is placed or existing adverts are changed, we automatically send an email to any brides who may be interested.

Brides will contact you directly if they are interested in any of your dresses. Some will come to your shop as normal, others will be too far away and will want to pay by Credit Card and have the dress sent to them. One shop with a bulk package has sent dresses over to the US and to the Scilly Isles.

Free Services Advert

Every Bulk Package comes with a free Services Advert in each relevant category for the Region of your choice. For example you may want to be included in Bridalwear and Accessories, Dress Alterations and Jewellery. For full details on the Services adverts please click here and remember the prices shown on this page don't apply to you unless you want to upgrade!

If you decide to upgrade we will knock the cost of the advert you are entitled to off the cost of the service you require. For example if you are entitled to a Standard Services advert (normal price £10.00) and want to upgrade to an Enhanced Services advert (normal price £50.00) we would charge you £40.00 for the upgrade.

Placing adverts is easy and quick, we provide you with a step by step instruction sheet but if you need further help you can contact us for help.

If you want us to do all or part of the advert placement for you these services are available at extra cost. Prices for these additional services are as follows:
